Something Forever took ahold of my heart on the first page and did not let go! This was such a sweet story full of love and joy. A marriage of convenience trope is ALWAYS amazing, and this was no exception. Whitney and Liam have immediate chemistry, and I’m obsessed with the buildup throughout the story. Their forced proximity is brilliant and completely drives them together in all the best ways.
I especially love how vulnerable and in touch with his emotions Liam is. This story touches on the difficulties of mental health and grief, and it shows how recognizing those feelings is a strength, not a weakness. As we know, men’s mental health is often not spoken enough about. This story showed a strong, brave male character in Liam who has many emotions and shows them. It’s so important to have that representation, and I was such a huge fan of that aspect of the book.
Rachael Harriet does a beautiful job with this love story. It’s real, raw, and full of all the warm fuzzy feelings. It was an absolute delight to read and I can’t recommend it more. Something Forever comes out August 22nd and you guys have to go read it ASAP!
I received a free advance copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
