Forbidden Flames was such a good read. I loved getting to dive into Emerson and Orion’s personalities and to watch them go from enemies to lovers. So much of their story comes after they become comfortable together, and I loved how their characters developed rather than having to wait in the long haul. It also gave us SPICE SPICE SPICE, which I will never complain about!!
One of my favorite parts of this story was how Emerson and Orion are working through their pasts and their traumas while they grow in a relationship. There is a lot of tension throughout the story as a result of Emerson’s past, but it serves to propel these characters forward into a great space.
I was so delighted to find out that Tiesa Parkin is now writing Forbidden Greed, another story in this world that follows Arianna, one of Emerson’s friends! It is an absolute must read especially after how much I loved Forbidden Flames.
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author and Forever After PR. The opinions expressed are my own.
