ARC Review: Chasing You by Bridie Charles

Publication Date: June 7, 2025

It was such a delight to get to read Chasing You! Miles and Marina’s second chance romance was so realistic and beautifully done. The push & pull between their mutual affection and the lingering feelings from the past makes for a compelling read. I was certainly invested in this love story after meeting these characters as individuals in the previous books in the Ruby Cove series!

I loved the dual timelines that we see throughout Chasing You! It’s so telling to see Miles and Marina’s original dynamic in comparison to their present-day one. It was also super helpful to understand the sense of deep betrayal & resentment that Marina felt upon Miles’s return.

I love the Ruby Cove series so much, and I’m so grateful to have ARC read all three of the books so far. It was so lovely to see Isla and May and their boys in this story. There is such a sense of family and found family in Ruby Cove, and it is a warm place I am always excited to return to.

I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.
