ARC Review: The Love Fix by Jill Shalvis

Publication Date: June 24, 2025

I loved reading The Love Fix and the journey between Heath and Lexi! There’s so much history from their childhoods and I loved the banter & competitive nature they shared. It touched my heart how Heath just continued to show up for Lexi while allowing her to work through her own emotions. It really epitomized the essence of true partnership and the friendship at the core of it all.

So much of this story is Lexi’s own healing journey: developing a relationship with her sister, Ashley, and grieving the loss of her mother and the childhood she wanted but didn’t have. I appreciated how she isn’t magically healed at the end of the story but is instead committed to continuing to grow- because that’s real life!!!

There’s so much to love about The Love Fix and the Sunrise Cove series as a whole. It’s an easy place to jump right into visiting & to fall right back into. The characters in this book are real and messy, and they feel like authentically flawed humans. I loved being back in Sunrise Cove and am excited for more books set there!

I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.
