ARC Review: Trick Play by L.A. Shaw

Publication Date: July 17, 2025

I was so happy to read Trick Play and to see Bellamy and Cash’s happy ending unfold! The love between these characters is undeniable, and watching them figure out how to find their own path was a great read. L.A. Shaw definitely did not disappoint with this book!

This is such a story of unfortunate circumstances. There were so many times throughout this book where my heart absolutely broke for Bellamy and Cash. Having followed parts of their journey in Replay, I loved getting to see their perspectives and watch them navigate their complicated dynamic.

While I don’t know whose story is coming next, I do know I’m going to be continuing down the Mountain Ridge University path! I’ve so loved reading both Replay and Trick Play. L.A. Shaw is fantastic at writing sports romance, and for my New Adult reader friends, this is a series you won’t want to miss!

Thank you to the author and Chasing Books PR for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

When your MMC is nicknamed Trouble, there’s no way the story can be anything besides full of banter, sass, and spice. Tristan…
