The Hockey Situation was an absolute treat. This book has so many of my favorite tropes- enemies to lovers, forbidden romance, and of course, hockey romance. Patterson and Kennedy truly are the epitome of how chemistry comes through regardless of real world situations. And boy do they have that incredible chemistry. No one writes spice like Lyra Parish does!
Kennedy and Patterson’s journey to love is MESSY, and full of ups and downs. It’s great to see them learn to communicate with one another and the rest of the world. They’re two very real people who start with less than ideal circumstances for a relationship, but seeing them fall in love was a beautiful example of choosing yourself as you choose to fully love someone else.
At the conclusion of this book, Lyra does an incredible job of setting up the next book in the Billionaire Situation series. While I hopped into this world halfway through the series, I’m completely invested going into The Royal Situation, the seventh book about Addison- Kennedy’s best friend and Patterson’s brother! It can’t come soon enough, and I’m so excited for more.
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.

When your MMC is nicknamed Trouble, there’s no way the story can be anything besides full of banter, sass, and spice. Tristan…
