Author Meet and Greet: Annabel Monaghan

June 9, 2024

What an amazing opportunity it was to meet Annabel Monaghan! She came to visit as a part of her tour for Summer Romance– which came out last summer. Annabel’s books are full of warmth, love, and friendship. She writes beautiful romance but there is also so much more to enjoy in her stories!

Annabel has written the three books she is holding in the photo with me above: Nora Goes Off Script, Same Time Next Summer, and Summer Romance. Her latest book, It’s A Love Story, comes out May 27, 2025. I had the pleasure of ARC reading this book as well, and my review will be coming out on publication day… or it’s already up on my Instagram!

Thanks so much to Oxford Exchange Bookstore for hosting the meet and greet! It was such a beautiful and lovely conversation and it was so fun to get to actually chat with Annabel and fellow author Ivy Fairbanks about writing romance and beyond.

Summary for Summer Romance:

Benefits of a summer romance: it’s always fun, always brief, and no one gets their heart broken.

There aren’t enough labeled glass containers to contain the mess that is Ali Morris’s life. Her mom died two years ago, then her husband left, and she hasn’t worn pants with a zipper in longer than she cares to remember. She’s a professional organizer whose pantry is a disgrace.

No one is more surprised than Ali when the first time she takes off her wedding ring and puts on pants with hardware—overalls count, right?—she meets someone. Or rather, her dog claims a man for her in the same way he claimed his favorite of her three children: by peeing on him. Ethan smiles at Ali like her pants are just right—like he likes what he sees. The last thing Ali needs is to make her life messier, but there’s no harm in a little Summer Romance. Is there?

Free Falling was such an incredible read and wonderful addition to the Colburn brothers collection. Caleb and Emma’s rivals to lovers arc was everything. The chemistry completely leapt off the page, and…

ARC Review: Fallen Willow by Roxanne Tully

Publication Date: February 18, 2026 The second this book popped up in my inbox, I jumped to read it. I had been dying for Dallas’ story as soon as I finished Wild Rose, so I was so excited to see Fallen Willow come to life. Willow and Dallas are such a great pairing and the…

ARC Review: Trouble by Jess Bryson

Publication Date: January 16, 2026 Having read all of Jess Bryson’s Bayside Lake series, I was so excited for her to venture into writing cowboy romance! And boy is Trouble such a delight. When your MMC is nicknamed Trouble, there’s no way the story can be anything besides full of banter, sass, and spice. Tristan…
