Brooks Madsen, the man you are! Sliding Home is the epitome of a second chance romance full of spice and longing. Michelle and Brooks are entirely black cat-golden retriever vibes and their dynamic is so great. I loved the banter between them and how much that banter factors into their dynamic!
Brooks and Michelle come from drastically different familial backgrounds, and this is especially clear in their interactions with their respective brothers. While it takes Michelle time to learn that family can be built on more than just blood, it was beautiful to see her learn to trust and lean on others in her life instead of staying wholly independent.
This book is a testament to the saying “if it’s meant to be, it will be.” It took a lot of time, patience, and effort for these characters to come back together, but it was absolutely worth it to wait. Jaqueline Snowe wrote yet another beautiful book with sports in the background & love in the foreground- a truly fantastic combination each and every time.
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.

ARC Review: Enter the Villa by Anna Peele
Publication Date: May 19, 2026 As a longtime Love Island fan, Enter the Villa was fascinating. Hearing from production about the stereotypes of various characters on the show, how the show morphed over time, and how the show became the mega popular force it is today was incredibly interesting. It truly was a look behind…
