I was SO ready for Preston and Jordan’s story in Breaking the Ice!! The absolute squeal I let out when this ARC landed in my inbox was more than proof!! Their friends-to-lovers arc was an absolute dream. I knew the tension was there from Under the Ice, but reading it here was a whole other level. Whew, the spice was SPICY in the best way!
One of the things I loved in this story was the power of the friendship between Preston and Jordan. Jordan’s anxious attachment style was totally in play here, but Preston’s ability to continually show up for her made all the difference. It’s one of the most beautiful parts of friends to lovers plots- the knowledge that they already know all the bad things about you and love you anyways.
Jaqueline Snowe is one of my go-to authors for sports romance. I’ve loved her hockey romances so much, and I absolutely adored Sliding Home, which was a baseball romance! You can read my ARC review for Sliding Home here. I don’t know what it is that she puts into these stories, but I know I always want more!
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.

ARC Review: Trouble by Jess Bryson

When your MMC is nicknamed Trouble, there’s no way the story can be anything besides full of banter, sass, and spice. Tristan…
