ARC Review: Out of Bounds by Cassie Flinchum

Publication Date: August 13, 2025

Ah! The fake dating in this book is so good! Out of Bounds was such a fun story of the evolving dynamic between Asher and Sage. Their initial impressions of each other are so far off from their ending reality, and I loved seeing them evolve. They’re such real people and it was such a pleasure to watch them fall fully in love.

Asher and Sage go on quite the journey in this book! From two people who very much dislike each other to the always amazing fake dating to catching real feelings, so much happened for these characters! I also loved how Sage brought out the softer side of Asher and Asher brought out the more confident side of Sage.

Since Out of Bounds is not the first book in this series, I’m definitely going to be going back and reading the others! There was so much to love in this book, from the romance to the representation and so much more. Asher and Sage went on quite a journey, and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Thank you to the author and Chasing Books PR for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
