If you’ve ever wanted to rage through a pumpkin patch and smash pumpkins, this book is for you! In all seriousness, Let’s Give ‘Em Pumpkin to Talk About was a hilarious story of two competitive people brought together under very unique circumstances. Sadie and Josh’s story of competing pumpkins for a local fair was honest, real, and had me cracking up. It was such a fun read and has me wanting that fall weather ASAP!
At their cores, Sadie and Josh are two very different people. I loved how their eccentricities only brought them closer, rather than creating distance, and how they never sought to change the other. There’s something beautiful about being seen for who you truly are, and that’s very prevalent in this story.
Isabelle Popp did a great job in writing this book! Sadie is a character who makes so much sense to me, and I found so many relatable moments with her. And I loved the dynamic she develops with Josh. Their spice is excellent, but the tenderness that runs through their every interaction is my favorite part of this story for sure.
Thank you to Harlequin – Romance and Afterglow Books by Harlequin for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
