Meg Jones is an amazing romance author, and Serving in the Snow was an absolute slay of a forced proximity romance! From the very beginning, the dynamic between Jonah and Kit was an instant hit. How could anyone NOT love a small town in SCOTLAND with holiday romance? And as always, Meg’s spice is a level above!!
After loving Clean Point and Game Point, the world that Meg Jones has created is so compelling in its complexities and dynamics that the characters go through. Kit and Jonah certainly go through individual conflicts before, during, and after their time together. The way their lives eventually perfectly intersect is a beautiful example of the right person AND the right time.
I love how Meg’s heroines always go through real life issues. There’s so much reality in the relationship between Jonah and Kit, as well as the additional backstory of Kit’s life. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the family reveal had me SCREAMING! There was just so much goodness in this book, and while I loved reading it as we gear up for the holidays, it’s a goodie you can read and enjoy year round.
