The Love Audit had that delicious sizzling tension between two people who should not want each other but do. From the very first page, Jasmine and Derek had me captivated watching them dance around one another. Pretending to be married in the small town they’re sent to for work is such a perfect trope combination for these characters, and it totally worked for me!
The shared history between Jasmine and Derek is something that both pushes them together and pulls them apart. The most beautiful moments in this story were the ones where they were purely raw and open with each other. Their familial ties certainly play a role in their journey, and I loved seeing them tackle those issues.
The Love Audit was so much more than just a love story. I loved the setting of Miller’s Cove, and Lucy Eden does such a great job of filling out that world. I wanted the HEA for more than just Jasmine and Derek as I was reading this story. This book was a delight to read and I truly enjoyed every moment!
Thank you to Forever and Grand Central Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
