At this point, I should know that reading a Katherine Center book will destroy me in the best way possible. The Shippers is the epitome of the “it was always you” trope. Jojo and Cooper’s story had me kicking my feet and screaming. I loved every second of their adventure together, and reading this book was a complete treat!
Jojo and Cooper are so cute together- even on a friend level- and their chemistry is undeniable. There’s nothing like the subtle undertones of jealousy between two people who are meant to be platonic! I loved watching them dance around the emotional tension between them and seeing the shift from friendship to more.
In many ways, this is a love story about those quietly intimate moments that can only be shared between two people who know each other deeply. It’s how sometimes, simply showing up is the greatest act of love there is. Jojo and Cooper’s story in The Shippers makes me believe in love, and that’s a powerful feeling to come away with.
Thank you to St. Martin’s Press for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

It truly was a look behind…
