Every time I read a Tarah Dewitt book, I have a hard time putting what it means into words. Lost and Found was a story filled with such tenderness and love and heartbreak all wrapped up at once. The love between Bea and Silas transcended the pages and managed to find its way squarely into my chest. 

This is a story truly about love amidst the strongest of grief. Bea’s determination to carry her late best friend’s eggs and become pregnant was both poignant and heartwrenching at the same time. The way that Silas shows up for her during this journey is full of tenderness and the kind of love that Bea needed to see and feel. 

At times, Lost and Found felt like a warm hug, and at other times, it felt like the grief passed through the story onto me. Tarah’s writing once again is on another level and is an inspiration to me both as a writer and just as a person. I love this book so dearly and will not be forgetting it anytime soon.
