Holidays With the Girls is so much more than just Connie and Matteo’s story- it’s a story of friendships, found family, and a show of how love requires both commitment and sacrifice. While Connie and Matteo were married in a Vegas ceremony before this book began, they still have a lot of learning to do about one another throughout this story. When combined with all the hijinks of Connie’s friends, this certainly was a holiday for the books!
There are a LOT of strong personalities that play key roles throughout this book. With a friend group as dynamic as Connie’s, it’s only fitting for there to be a fair amount of chaos!! The various group dynamics and personalities certainly kept me- and Connie!- on our toes throughout the story.
The beautiful thing about such an ensemble cast was how there was more than one happy ending to the story! Holidays With the Girls takes place around Connie’s friends’ wedding, but there was so much love between all the characters. It’s such a wonderful glimpse into a found family that shows up for each other in the good, bad, and ugly times!
