Avery and Theo’s love story in The Friendsgiving Pact was so sweet! Their tender friendship falling into a romantic connection was beautiful and heartfelt. This book completely captured the essence of those complex feelings as well as the beauty of realizing that your person is right in front of you- and has always been.

I love a friends-to-lovers story, and I loved that part of this book so much. Theo’s feelings for Avery particularly felt so raw & vivid across the page. There was so much warmth between these two even as they walked through some complex situations out of their own control, and the depth of that friendship really rang through in their journey.

Elizabeth Davis does a beautiful job of capturing the essence of being a teenager falling in love with their best friend. The Friendgiving Pact was a stark reminder of what it was like to be 18 and 19, and it captured those feelings so well. Avery and Theo’s love story made me feel both young again and so old at the same time in the best of ways.
