ARC Review: Trouble by Jess Bryson

Publication Date: January 16, 2026

Having read all of Jess Bryson’s Bayside Lake series, I was so excited for her to venture into writing cowboy romance! And boy is Trouble such a delight. When your MMC is nicknamed Trouble, there’s no way the story can be anything besides full of banter, sass, and spice. Tristan (Trouble) and Sawyer have all of this in the best way!

These two are opposites in so many ways, but from the instant they meet, that chemistry is undeniable. Tristan is so charming, and the fact that Sawyer held out for so long is actually very impressive. The brother’s-best-friend trope was so well done in Trouble, and I was also so fond of the character of Knox, Sawyer’s brother.

I so enjoyed the new world that Jess has created with the Stetson Stormers. With four hot Cowboy brothers, what more could I ask for?? I’m so excited to read Danger’s story next and to see how the Stetson brothers continue to grow and fall in love!

I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own.
