I absolutely loved Juliette and Wesley’s second chance love story in A Shore Thing! Once again, Emily Shacklette delivered an incredible story about love, honesty, and the hard work of fighting for your forever person. Juliette and Wes were such a sweet and tender couple, and their connection had me falling in love alongside them.
A part of this story that I really enjoyed was the journal entries we see from both Juliette and Wes! It was an amazing way to get insight into both characters and their internal struggles. The invisible string was certainly working on pulling them together, and it’s so clear how these two were actually meant to be.
A Shore Thing is definitely a great instance of a second chance story that makes perfect sense. Their mistakes from the past were honest instances of love through attempts of protecting the other. I was rooting for Juliette and Wes the entire time, and them finding their way back together was beautiful.
