This book is truly about two different people learning to put their own needs first while also falling for one another. The Christmas Yes List is cute, holiday fun while also tackling the very real reality of finding one’s voice. Chloe and James are entertaining, heartfelt, and honest in the best of ways.
I love the opposites-attract energy in Chloe and James. From the very start, Chloe is on a quest to say “no” to more things, but James is the perfect choice to allow Chloe the growth of saying yes while not ignoring her own wants and needs. His willingness to go along with her shenanigans- no matter how outlandish- is both endearing and highly amusing.
The Christmas Yes List was an easy and lighthearted read perfect for the holiday season. Chloe and James’ story was full of big feelings while also showing the joy of the holiday season. It’s easy to see how this book will translate so well to the big screen, and I look forward to watching it play out in that form as well!
