ARC Review: The Roommate Rule by Georgia Stone

Publication Date: July 7, 2026

I don’t know what magic Georgia Stone put into The Roommate Rule, but I need a hundred more immediately. Dylan and Max were sheer perfection. The slow burn was to die for, their chemistry electric, and their flirting had me cracking up laughing more than once. From the second they wound up with only one bed, I knew we were in for the best of rides.

Dylan and Max are opposites in a lot of ways, but I loved seeing them work to find a common ground as roommates and as more. Dylan makes perfect sense to me with her tidiness, her plans, and all her preferences; It was, at times, like reading my internal monologue on paper. Max took the time to learn Dylan in every way, and it was his dedication to truly show up and love her as she needed to be loved that sets them up for success.

I was lucky enough to read Georgia’s other book, The Friendship Fling, last year, so this was one of my most anticipated books of the year. The Roommate Rule absolutely blew me away, and I fear Dylan and Max will be living rent free in my head for a while to come. If you haven’t read a Georgia Stone book, you are truly missing out!!!

Thank you to Harper Perennial and Paperbacks for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
